MAP6 NEWSPAPER
The MAP6 publication The Moscow Project was on show at the Photo Publishers’ Market this weekend. It was also great to see so many other fabulous publications on display.
The Photo Publishers’ Market was held at The Phoenix and was organised by Brighton Photo Fringe, Photoworks, Brighton Photo Biennial and Miniclick.
TO THE RIVER
Lately I discovered this beautiful and unusual series called Virginia from Annalaura Palma. The series retraces Virginia Woolf’s last walk from her house in Rodmell to the place where she drowned herself in the river Ouse.
You can visit Annalaura Palma’s website here, you can also see her work on display at One Eyed Jacks until November 1st.
PHASES MAG
Im delighted to have Sleeplessness featured in Phases magazine. You can see it here.
THIS WEEK’S PHOTO
I have been spending the week making work for my series Sleeplessness. Its been a crazy time, all night walking until day break and then lying in bed all day resting. Last night I got a fright when I was chased by a giant Badger, it was my first ever sighting and hopefully my last. Generally I see nobody all night just the odd fox, drunk person or fellow Insomniac wandering by. So it came as a big surprise when I spotted myself staring back at me in a shop window. It was a truly terrifying moment.

Thanks to everybody that came down to the Vantage Point for the exhibition opening. It was a busy night, great fun too. If you couldn’t make it then the show is up until the end of the BPF14 which is November 2nd. For directions and info click here.
